Using ubr10K 12.2(33)SCF4 + PRE2 + 8 MC 5x20H-D + Wideband SPA + rfgw-1-d. Without DTI server.
The DS bonding group contains one DS from card 5x20 and seven from wideband SPA. The US bonding group contains two US from card DS 5x20.
Can't get more 120 Mbit/s speed in DS. Tried modems Cisco 3208G and Thomson THG571K.
Maybe there are some limitations with this configuration/equipment?
We are working on a small headend that currently has both analog and digital video. This system has no fiber. The headend goes into a launch amp and then out to 3 LEs along the way. I assume we can input our CMTS signal into the combiner and provided the system is balanced correctly everything should fall into place from there out.
My question is how do we determine the attenuation required on our US and DS of the CMTS to come out of the combiner and into the launch amp at the right level?
Can anyone send me the SNMP MIB files and maybe a sample MTA config (MGCP) for the Thomson / Technicolor TWG870 and THG570 / 571 modems?
If so, please mail me at: tomdecker77@gmail.com
Thanks a lot!

I work for a very very small municipality (500 catv subs and 130 internet subs) Until recently I was split between the water department and doing cable connects and internet installs. I have now been upgraded to working in the headend. I am not up on all the lingo and am Just trying to learn. We are currently using 2 ds channels and 4 us (qam16) channels to deliver internet to customers, we are still very much an analog system with about 64 catv channels on a 550mhz system. We currently only purchase 60mb of bandwidth from a provider.
I am playing with a Cisco cBR-8, not live, in our lab, but soon to go live. I have modems working on it, but I'm not happy with a few things, the big one being below:
Its different enough to be annoying for me to have one problem that I can't figure out (so far!!)
Each linecard has 8 downstream ports and 16 upstream ports, so I figured I would use 2 upstream ports per downstream.
We do a fairly straightforward docsis environment, nothing trick at this time.
