I'm having some issues getting Arris 820 to come online at all, in any mode, without configuring a custom RCS, but the issue is that I can only get a 4x4 profile to work. This creates issues since my other EPC3010's etc starts using that RCS, which interferes with my strategy for capacity.
Setup is:
8/0/0 = 4x Primary DS 338,346,354,362 Mhz ( MAC domain interface.. )
8/0/1 = 4x non-primary DS 562,570,578,586 same SG as 8/0/0
8/0/4 = 4x non-primary rf-spanned between 8/0/0-8/0/1 8/0/2 - 8/0/3 SG's at DS 530,538,546,554 Mhz
Sorry yet another stupid question .. am learning as I go ...
I have been collecting CPE->CM information via the CPE-Type IPDRs i.e. it reports CPEIPv4,CPEIPv6 & CMMac address,
I was asked today if its possible to get this without the CPE-Type IDPR,
And it looks like yes i.e. CMTS can report CPEIPAddress(s) in SAMIS IPDR but normally is disabled by default, to reduce IPDR size
So I guess short version is if its juts a configuration on CMTS to enable the CPEIPAddress field in the SAMIS-IPDR type ?
Sorry if this is a really silly question, I'm trying to find if its possible to query a CMTS via SNMP to retrieve the CM MAC -> IPv6 Prefix deligation,
I've tried a few different MIB's and OID's but so far hasn't worked i.e. on example was 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.116.1.3.10
I'm guessing if not SNMP I can do over DHCP or ssh remote command execution
Hello, colleagues!
We're small ISP with uBR 10012 (12.2(33)SCD6) +PRE2 +8 20x20v cards running DOCSIS 2.0. We're going to migrate our cable users into 3.0
Will migration be possible with these limitations ?
1. we have only 5 frequencies to operate DS streams;
2. each 20x20v card running 5ds 20 us license.
We are going to bond all 5 available ds channels on each 20x20v card and put them in separate MAC domain.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Hi everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has the default console login info for the Moto ARPD 1000, or if someone can provide a manual for it. I have one that I'd like to run some diagnostics on but I can't seem to remember the default login info.
We are thinking about deploying this solution and our cisco supplier is saying it is not for US customers, and I am not seeing the same thing in the docs....
I show it on the US cisco price list with an option for a US power cord so I think my cisco supplier is a wee bit crazy. Was curious if anyone had deployed it.
