I really need to know what status C means

Does anyone know where i can get info about docsis 3.0 ?

Im trying install docsis-server-2.0.4 on Fedora Core 3. but y have this problem when I run the make command.

I hate to sound totally stupid, but we currently have a small cable company, and have been solicated to put internet service on it. I was told that all I needed was a cable modem router, and the internet hook. Do I need an authentication server for our users?

I have changed my Docsis_Server 1.2.0 to a new Version (Docsis_Server 2.4.0), but with the new version the Cable Modems Not make the registration process...Its appear how "dhcp(d)". If i verify the tftp service from any computer this is OK. Really i dont know what can be occurring, i migrate all the tables and set the new values.

Anybody can help me? I need install the new version in my ISP.

I occasionally need to renew my IP address with my ISP Telstra/BigPond.

I'm using a Motorola SURFBoard SB4200 with a D-Link DI-614+ Wireless Modem Router authenticating to the SB4200.

My ISP is being most unhelpful, only able to officially support a PC directly connected to the SB4200 Cable modem.

I can connect to the WebAdmin interface on http//192.168.100.1/ but there's no option to renew the DHCP IP address.

Can anyone help, please?

This is a two parter. First of all, does anyone know of an SNMP string that will reboot all Cable Modems?

Also, I need a way to look behind the Cable Modem via SNMP to see the ip and or mac of the cpe. Any ideas?
