i've got a problem. I need a Service Flow in Upstream for Voice (listening on TOS-Bit 118) and i will taking UGS as Scheduling Type. If i set SchedulingType from 2 (BE) to 6 (UGS) the CM can't registration on CMTS (Failure: reject(c)). We don't use PacketCable-Devices and can't use the dQoS-Feature from Pktc.
I'm trying with admission control, scheduling-type-entry at upstream and so on but nothing is help. I'm afraid the UGS Service Flow can only give from the CMTS to the CM but how can i requesting this flow without dQoS from Pktc?
Hi all,
currently i need to get a software that is able to plot SNR, TX graphs over a period of time. Best if it could do ping plots as well.
SNMP can do it but it's data only limited to 2hrs only.
Anyone got any to recommend?
Thanks
According to a Motorola rep:
Quote:We had two issues that delayed production on this product:
A manufacturing test failure that required a new firmware development and release (the test that failed is not a scenario that the end user would experience, but we had to resolve it for manufacturability).
We also experienced some parts shortages from suppliers, but this was secondary to the first issue.
Both issues have been resolved and the next production date is August 12th.
we have a Cisco CMTS UBR 10012 and Thomson TCM 420 cable modems running Eurodocsis standard
the problem is that we never get upload speeds over 2,7 mbit. does anybody have some experience about cisco ubr's and configuration running Docsis 2.0
the modem is showing MAC: Docsis 2.0 QOS: Docsis 1.1 channel width is at 6,4 mhz in the upstream running qam 64 - the modem shows that he is connected with QPSK in the upstream
we have 4 docsis cmts(BSR2000) I got a problem when the modem aquire ip address in CPE side.. Because when look at the logs the ip address tried to acquire of the computer is different subnet and not the one configured in the cmts i check the routes in linux box its correct and double check the ip address for the cpe in cmts its also correct!
"It acquire the ip address for cpe configured in cmts 2 but the modem is configured in cmts 1 and they have there own ip subnet for cpe"
I have a nice RTP stream encapsulated in DOCSIS headers that works great in Ethereal, but I would like to export the packet capture without the DOCSIS stuff so that I can manipulate it in another protocol analyzer.
