I have a CPE (Cisco Router 1841) behind a CM which has an interface with 802.1Q encapsulation, and it is in VLAN 27.
Another Cisco 1841 is connected in the same switch where CMTS is connected, and also has an interface with 802.1Q encapsulation, and VLAN 27. The Switch ports where CMTS and the Cisco 1841 are connected are configured in trunk mode and they allow VLAN 27 to pass. The schema should look like below:
We are currently running a form of DQOS-lite (-KDC server and BPI). We have a Ubr10K, Cedarpoint switch, and end to end QOS with Dynamic service flows created using Moto 5220's. We are currently experiencing an issue where we have delay with incoming calls. on-net to on-net and off-net to on-net. What happens is the person answering the phone says hello a few times before the far end can hear them pick up. The mta user hears a click like the connection establishes then everything is fine.
I'm trying to implement PacketCable Cable Modems on our cable plants. I'd like to start testing with the SBV4200s. I have a config file editor, but can someone point me in the right direction by either posting and example config file with PacketCable or sending me somewhere for descriptions of all the MIB stuff?
