A customer experienced problems today with the remaining ~100 modems of model Motorola SB5101E. They all got stuck in reject(pk) or reject(pt) and possibly online(un) for some time. CMTS is a BSR2000. We tried it all but eventually set the date back to 2020 instead of 2021 and all modems came up. The modem logs showed a lot of "Time requested - no response received" or similar, but we verified that the time server did send correctly stamped time responses.

I have a BSR64k set up exactly the same as others in my system, but for whatever reason it is not sending the registration/deregistration traps.

We use cable modem CISCO DPC3825 and it is very often that it is deconfigured and takes the default configuration.

with the default configuration is disabled the remote access and the management port changes to 8080

How can I enable remote acces using snmpset
what are the OIDs to use ?

My question is: How many DS channels can I define in a bonding-group on BSR64000?

I bound 16 DS channels to the cable interfece 0/2:

When I try to create a bonding-group with 16 chennels, then I got the next answer:

Too many arguments on command line

It's been a while since really working with the C4, but I've setup 32x4 bonding and it's working just fine.
my question relates to remote-query. it only give me the levels on the primary channels, not all the channels.

I am a bit new to the cable industry of which my friend is more advance. The problem that is being experienced is that he has a Docsis 1 CMTS with 50 modems connected and working and he purchase a Docsis 2 CMTS system of which he wants to have both on the same network. One has a 357MHz frequency while the other has a 459MHz frequency.

Cisco EPC3008 modem, SNMP issue: some private enterprises OIDs don't allow configuration from SNMP commands.
Although it must be configurable, in particular:

saCmMtaCliAccessType.0 disable(0)
saCmMtaCliAccessInterface.0
saCmMtaCliAccessUsername.0
saCmMtaCliAccessPassword.0

How it can be configured?
Also, a lot of Broadcom private enterprises OIDs are hidden when snmpwalk.

we are using the old cacti system for monitoring signal and BW parameters from modems. We are using this for over 15 years with THG 541 modems.
But we are on Docsis 3 now and using Ubee EVW32C modems.
