I have a BSR64K with two SRM 4 cards and an HSIM GE2/Eth8 card in slot 15 whenever I try to do a switch over to the standby SRM the system looses IP connectivity. I can no longer ping the BSR whether it be through the SRM card or through the HSIM card.
Is there some sort of command that needs to be ran so that there is no lose of connectivity after a switch over to the standby SRM. I have tried swapping the SRM cards and there was no change.
I recently became involved with the configuration of our UBR10012 CMTS for adding another 48 channels to our RFGW1. (We currently had 48 already, 40 of which are being used.) After several hours of trying to figure out what the heck I was doing, I finally got the additional 48 channels (40 of which are being used... so we have 16 unused channels on QAM 6/1 and 6/2 of the RFGW1) up and working.
Hi.
We rebooted our BSR64000 due to some memory leak issue and after it came back, one of the RX48 card stuck in "core" state. It was in "cfg" state for awhile before it rebooted again and stuck in "core" state until now.
I´m working with a BSR 2000 for an university project. I need to get the cmts to the default state, but unfortunately, I did a reboot with clean men, and I deleted all FLASH memory content. Now i need the boot file.
