Hello everyone

I have an Arris C3 CMTS that is nat recognizing the cable upstream 4 and 5. Im not sure if this is a configuration issue or it is related with the equipment in self. When I try to setup the upstream interface it shows me the message "!Invalid interface: 4" or "!Invalid interface: 5". I have setup the startup-config file with the necessary to put them work at the boot, but they don't came up. Do you know what could be the problem?

Can someone explain me the behavior of modem (or CMTS) with US bounding ? I'm a little confused.

We have one modem with 8 DS 256QAM, CMTS Cisco UBR 7225.

1) 1 US without "cable mtc-mode" US bounding, channel width 6.4MHz, symbol rate 5.120, 64-QAM => speed 320x20 MBit.
2) 1 US with "cable mtc-mode" US bounding => speed 120x20 MBit.
3) Adding two US into bounding group (3 US in total) => speed 120x40 MBit.

Why the DS speed slow down?

We have Cisco EPC3208G modems with firmware epc3208g-ESIP-5-v302r125562-121101c-DE.bin. And these modem does not work correctly with our DOCSIS 3.0 CMTS (other modems works perfectly).
For example, we got 130Mbs maximum speed with these Cisco EPC3208G vs 300Mbs with Arris MB820 (8 ds, 1 us).

Does someone have other firmare for this modems?

we have tg862g. the problem is we can change ssid and psw but after reboot the modem SSID and psw will restore back to default one again.

I though it is the problem cuz of the modem locked this function.

is there and OID can change this function?

I have a strange problem. Only one type of DOCSIS 2.0 modem (SVG1501) does create dynamic telephony flows USG-AD and the flow when the call is on has voice drops. I see that the UGS-AD flow does not reach more then 30 kbps. I dont know why?

I got some NAT-ed traffic on a 7225 D3.0 - temporarily, just waiting for migration from D2.0 and grab public addresses from there . Now it is needed to monitor traffic of those NAT-ed ip's. I tried to use 'cable monitor' on a Cable 1/0 with Giga 0/3 as an outside port but without success. Is there any trick to do that? My firmware on UBR is ubr7200p-jk9su2-mz.122-33.SCI.bin.

Staff in the coming months will be installing my first cmts docsis 3.0. today commercialize the following speeds 1m, 5m and 10m and I intend to cmts docsis 3.0 add speeds of 15, 20, 25 and perhaps 30m.

from how fast you advise installing cable modem 3.0. taking into account that the money is short. the size of the node is around 450 internet subscribers to 8 frequency downstream.

I use Arris TM804 eMTAs and Asterisk as CMS.
When the call is answered the eMTA responds to MDCX message from CMS with "Protocol error 510".

We got a new ubr10012 where we want to run 2 DTCC Card with IOS Version 12.3(17b)BC9.

We unpack and power up the machine. But the ubr seem to not recognize DTCC Card. Also, we tried to fix the card 1/1 and 2/1 in the config, but no result. We have also 1 card mc20x20v. We want to use the solution I-CMTS, without clock server. I read we need to put on the dtcc card first, otherwise, we cant use mc20x20 card.

Anyone have idea ? Below, config file (basic because we dont have access to advance config)
