I started getting this error and the QAMs are not seen anymore. I just recently swapped out the QAMs with known good ones from ones that were failing and everything looked fine with the known good ones until I rebooted the unit and now I am seeing the following on bootup.
Backplane of our BSR64K is a little damaged, but each card (SRM4, 2*TX32, HSIM) seems to boot normally (seen on serial port of each).
SRM has detected each card as I/O RM module with an x, but doesn't detect the type of card.
SRM is resetting regularly the HSIM and the two TX32 cards, with ipc problems.
We have obtained a number of these modems and I am looking for a provisioning guide or sample CM & MTA config files.
We provision our MTAs using a seperate MTA config file. We have Hitron and Technicolor eMTAs on our network with no issues.

Someone here know how good the correction mechanism is for a normal CMTS receiver in docsis 3.0? how fast is the QAM correction mechanism? does it gives higher ping if there is for example 100% corrected of the signal? if so, how much?
I want to run returnsignal with QAM256 in a difficult network, if we could have correctables in plenty; maybe it would work even with low return SNR

I have a ubr7246vxr with mc28u setup where modems lock on, but i am limited to 10Mb down and 2Mb up. Single modem using ftp across the connection to test throughput.

I could use some assistance troubleshooting a possible DSG problem on Arris E6000.
My STB seem to not be in two way mode. The CM portion of the STB register fine, they get IP addresses, and I can ping the addresses across the network. But they are not getting guide data, and their time is showing wrong. The DSG counts in the CMTS are not incrementing at all. But the DSG configuration seems to be fine. Right now it is running in DSG 2.0. The STB in question are MotoDCX3600.

i need help on reseting a Cable Modem from linux with snmp either directly with ip or in any way that i can do it .
I can read ip, mac , tx power , rx power and other values but i don't know how to reset a modem to do a reprovision of the modem again.
I've tried many things without success.
as i have read some details about this comand
snmpset -v1 -c public 172.33.55.11 1.3.6.1.2.1.69.1.1.3.0 i 1
it needed to work but to me it's not working.
What i need to do is reset a modem that i know his mac adres or his IP adress .
