I have CMTS C100G Casa Systems and I want to develop an application with php that allows me to list the cable modems (mac)
and know which upstream port of the CMTS they are connected to and know their DSPwr(dB), USPwr(dB), DSSNR(dB) levels
My intention is to save this in a database.
For example, to identify the percentage of cable modems through an Upstream port that exceed the USPwr(dB) level by more than 50 dB or cable modems (mac) that have levels outside the expected range.
Does anyone have a PDF copy of the Arris 9.x "Firmware Guide/Provisioning Manual?" Also how do you setup CWMP option 43.1/125 on a Cisco/Moto/Arris CMTS or router?
Is there any way I can stop Docsis 2 modems from coming online, either with an OID in a docsis config file, or via something on the CMTS (Cisco UBR 10k). We are in the process of phasing these out from our network and once done, we want to deny access to all modem types less than docsis 3.
When I check the online cable modems in the CMTS C100G-Casa Systems, I see that some have the # in the information of the DS or US channels, mainly it happens in the US Intf
Can someone give me a general concept if it's possible, or what mechanism can be used to cause eRouter traffic to match the cable bundle instead of sub-bundle?
