Been a member of this board for a long time, and have never posted anything like this, but thought it may be of use to many on here.
I will be on a webinar panel this week on Thursday, that is pertinent to those on here:
"CABLE OPERATORS CONUNDRUM: How To Stay True to Your Cable DNA"
I can't link it here but you should be able to find it on Linked in
Hello, perhaps someone has the software update for the FritzBox 6490 Cable modem with FritzOS version 7.57. I would be grateful if you could share the files.
Good afternoon everyone!
We just picked up some Arris TM9202 mta's to replace our aging (and non replaceable) Arris 602 mta's.
We are using packetcable 1.5 on the 602's, and would like to use Packetcable 1.5 on the 9202's.
We have the devices showing up as emta, which is what we want.
We are using AB01.06.013_051923_223.PC20.TM.NA.simg firmware, which supports PC1.5/SIP
We've added 'sipEnePntConfigUserId' to the mtaconfig, which means the mta will be provisioned with PC1.5 rather than 2.0.
I know this isn't docsis, sorry but this is a bit of a hail mary to industry veterans. I need docs on omnistar transmitters/receivers and older harmonics nodes.. Anyone? I have to do things on the cheap right now as there are overbuild grants coming in that could kill us.
Running into an oddball issue.
In the head end, a 3.1 modem is hitting 229mb max (test modem). Sometimes.
Out at the node we're getting 70 out of that same modem. We're running 3.2 6.4 6.4 3.2 atdma and ambiguity exclusion on ofdma carriers running 48mhz to 80mhz.
We're only getting return through the atdmas from the looks of it.
I have recently set up a small DOCSIS lab, using a uBR7225 with an MC88V card. It is configured in an 8x4 bonding group, and all of my various modems come up just fine. I cannot seem to get any modem to work higher than 100mbps on the downstream, and I am looking for some tuning suggestions. Here are snippets of the configuration:
