US channel use of D 2.0 and D 3.0 modems

UBR10K 8x4, in the network D 2.0 and D 3.0 modems.

When assigning a slot for transmission to the D 3.0 modem, all 4 US channels will be allocated, and for the D 2.0 modem only one US channel. When assigning a slot to a D 2.0 modem on one US channel, can CMTS assigned slot to another D 2.0 modem on another US channel?

Do you mean a loadbalancing

Do you mean a loadbalancing based on modemcount?
If you have 40xD2.0 modems in total - you want to see 10xD2.0 on each upstream channel?
I've never had these 8x4 linecards, but maybe it could work as it did on the 5x20.

cable load-balance group 1 method modem
cable load-balance group 2 method utilization
cable load-balance group 3 method utilization

interface Cable5/0/0
cable upstream 0 load-balance group 1
cable upstream 1 load-balance group 1
cable upstream 2 load-balance group 2
cable upstream 3 load-balance group 2
cable upstream 4 load-balance group 3
cable upstream 5 load-balance group 3
