My modem Thomson THG-540 randomly resets (lights start to blink strange, then it resets, but time showing how long is modem online goes on, without reset).
Here is recording of my modem during one of this problematic resets:

Does anybody knows how to set up two ore more next-server in dhcp options? I tried next-server 10.16.1.2, 10.16.1,3; and
next-server 10.16.1.2;
next-server 10.16.1.3;
but none of them worked.
I want to add a new feature to my cable management software. I'd like to ability to send unauthorized Cable Modems to and HTTP server that will allow them to register and pay via credit card. Would that be done via the config file? Any ideas/help would be appreciated.
I'm just wondering if there are any kind of information that Cable Modem can store about in which CMTS it's connected. For example, CMTS IP, CMTS MAC, CMTS Serial ore any other CMTS identifier.
is there any one who can access this subversion?
or is there any one who get these html files from docsis_server ??

Late last week I started monitoring aggregate modem stats on my networks. Every 20 minutes I poll the plant and pull in modem reported rx and tx power levels. From these I calc and report the mean, median, the quartiles and the first few moments. I've been doing this sort of thing on plant turn up as it shows fairly well how balanced the plant is.
So I come in this morning and just check in and see this interesting trend.
This is an extension off of the "Administration of Cable Plant" thread where Zenoss was discussed for monitoring.
I'm actually using Nagios to monitor my CMTS, routers and a provisioning equipment and some global modem variables (average plant SNR, TX power, RX power, etc), but am trying to find a way to monitor individual modems without having to define a new host and reload the service every time we add a new sub.
