i am trying to change the downstream frequency from CM450 i can open the page using 192.168.100.1 but there is no way to change the existing downstream frequency .

i remember there is a way to change it i did it before but i dont remember . i know the password dont know how to get into the page.

can sme pls help.

I have a question! I'm using (Cisco 7426) with (MC16E) and I'm running (Docsis 1.1) on it. i want to use the flows (i do not have a flat packets) so i want the modem to write the bandwidth which is made to the internet! and not to write the bandwidth made in the local network (between users, between the user and our servers) I never use these (CoS) so if any one can give some help I'll be grateful
where should i made the changes?

Can anyone point me towards some documentation on setting up packet filtering and traffic classification through modem config configuration files?

QOS is becoming a big issue on our networks, so I want to start classifying traffic at the modem as well as lock it down a little tighter.

I am currently looking for a used, surplus BSR1000. Does anyone have one in excess after an upgrade that they want to sell?
Or maybe you are downsizing.

Also, please keep us in mind for other asset recovery situations that may come up.

Hello! I've a strange problem with DHCP Requests with some CPEs and hope that someone here knows a solution. There is a uBr7223 with two cable interfaces Cable2/0 and Cable3/0 in a bundle. Then I've configured an "cable helper-address" to forward DHCP-Requests to a Linux-Host running ISC dhcpd. Everything works perfectly, but sometimes some hosts could not receive a IP address anymore.
