hello good morning I'm new to the cable internet area and I'm trying to set up a mikrotic to take over the role of administrator of the cable modems and if I replace the local sisco registry network I have already configured my dhcp server but the modem cable does not is online if someone could help me in telling me that I need to thank them.

I have a problem for any CM ( of diferents vendors and diferents models) when i try upgrade the firmware, the CM start download the image for upgrade but after some minutes the download fail and the conection TFTP closed, this only happen in BSR64K and with some CM no all (maybe 1500 of 14000). the TFTP server have config the timeout in "35 mins" and maxrequest in "2".

Can I assigned the static ip to CPEs?

I'm using the docsis server v3.5, and I can't find any table about IP and CPE mac address binding.

I have read previous posts, some posts mentioned the dhcpd.conf can do this, but I can't find the dhcpd.conf by using "find / -name dhcpd.conf"

What should I do??

So we have docsis 3 working, I have 8 contiguous channels, and another 4 non contiguous.
At one location we placed a SB6141 it came up in full channel bonding, we replaced it with a SBG6580 and no channel bonding.
Around the system sometimes we get channel bonding, sometimes we don't, and sometimes when I look at the detail the modem says Wideband Capable : N

We just turned up our first cbr8 with the 250G supervisor card.
It was a fight, getting the 100g port set correctly, but after that, it went ok.

Now, the cbr8 is online and in service, and I've found that Cacti is no longer able to see the upstream SNR on the cbr.
Doing a walk of .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.127.1.1.4.1.5 displays all 0's.
Everything else about the upstream is fine.
I've got a case opened with Cisco, but so far haven't heard any news.
Entering a show controller upstream-cable 0/0/0 | i SNR
does work.

I configured an L3 "port channel" in InterGiga of BSR64K but in this channel the upper traffic is 1Gb. if the port-channel (interface lag) was configured between two interface giga. Why is my main traffic 1Gb and not 2Gb?

1)
:7A(config)#interface gigaether X/Y
:7A(config-if)#shutdown

2) Create Port-Channel:
:7A(config)#interface lag [num]

3) Assign Description and IP Address in Interfaz Port-Channel:
:7A(config-if)#description ### DESCRIPCIÓN ###
:7A(config-if)# ip address ip mascara

We're currently not using IPv6 and was wondering how to let the CMTS know that. The reason I'm asking is because I keep seeing messages like these in my logs:

Hi,

I want to create a spectrum rule in which it can change the modulation of the upstream.
I know that i have to configure logical channel 1 in a different profile.
I have the configuration below but it doesn't seem to work. Can someone help me on this ?

Does anyone know what the function of the LCD display on the Cisco uBR10K chassis is? I have never been able to get display to show anything other than the Cisco logo and the buttons don't do anything.
