Hi everybody!
I have a big problem with my CMTS Cornerstone 1500. Before 4 days, it was necessary to reset the mashine.
After reset everething is going down.:( All adjustment going out.
We are small ISP with very small subscribers. There is 160 modems.I`m not specialist of CMTS andd that was so hard to me, to set right parameters.
Please help me to set right. I`ve not configuration file. :( This is disaster..... I must say: I`m woman :).There is my setting for up and downstream.(Two upstreams 4 and 5)
We recently bought a used arris c3, it has the ospf license installed. We placed a new configuration in the cmts, and all the cable modems get provisioned but they don't access the internet.
We make ping within the cmts cli to any internet ip and get response, we can also ping any cpe from the cmts. But from the cpe we can only ping the cmts not any internet ip.
Unfortunately we don't have any arris support contract.
i have problems provisioning cable modems, that only appears initializing but never pass the state to registered, i'm using motorola cable modems docsis 1.0 with cmts terayon bw3400, i have to make something more ???
that is my configuration of cmts and script for generate a binary file:
interface access 0
cable helper-address 12.132.0.1
ip address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.0

cable dhcp-giaddr policy
!
cable privacy root-certificate 1
interface cable 1
no shutdown
cable downstream frequency 489000000
I'm New in that, i was configure a Harris Cmts, that works in Layer2, and in this moment i'm trying to config a Terayon Cmts in Layer2 or Dhcp Relay, but i don't know how to make that configuration, please help me...
If you are a small cable operator with a vision to provide low cost reliable VoIP service to about 200-300 of your customers, this offer is for you.
We are seeking 3 small cable operators who expect no more than 200-300 VoIP subscribers max to assist us in a free year long trial of our VoIP switch. These operators need to have no prior VoIP service in their product line.
Our VoIP switch currently has a full list of residential features and we plan to build business features over 6-9 months.
I've recently had a hot potato dropped in my lap and I hope someone here can help me.
I work for a small company that built cable modems into electrical meters for a customer several years ago. Now the customer wants to do BPI+ with these modems and the original team didn't create any certificates for the firmware that was developed.
I have access to the firmware images that were compiled and parts of the original source, but I have no idea how to get from there to creating a Manufacturer CVC. Are there any tools available to do this?
Hi everyone... I have a docsis 2.0 implementation with a uBR7200 CMTS
in my work and i like to know if it possible implementing both
packetcable and docsis.
I have a asterisk voip server running for my docsis platoform, but i want to implement voice ip on packetcable.
It is possible put to work both plataforms together?
I'm experiencing a weird problem. Arris cable modems have an internal web page http://192.168.100.1 where you can connect when cable modem is not online.
When I'm connecting from linux or windows xp, everything works like a charm. I get a 192.168.100.2 IP address from cable modems dhcp server and then can navigate to http://192.168.100.1. However with windows7 it is not the case. Arris cable modem wouldn't give me an IP address. Even If I configure an IP staticly I still can't connect.
Does anyone have enable ipv6 on cable modem? I added a IPv6 address in the cable-mac and the CPE, but I can't ping each other.
For now, I don't want to allocate a IPv6 address on the modem (I want to use IPv4). Does anyone have any experience?
