Hope you can help or you can provide me some enlightenment about my project.

Currently we are using mpthrill to provisioned modem and cpe ip however we want to segregate networks for cpe ip based on service class for example

modem ip pool: 172.16.0.0/21
cpe pool 1:192.168.0.0/24
cpe pool 2:192.168.1.0/24
cpe pool 3:192.168.2.0/24
cpe pool 4:192.168.3.0/24

I welcome I in the MGCP version probably have a problem with bsr 1000 and telephone modems I have the too old software and if only to start this service (2.01.11P01) if somebody has the new software or I ask solving my problem for the help.

Can any one help me by providing modem config file which can "factory reset the modem".

snmpset for factory reset only works for Motorola that also after power cycle.

I need to do factory reset of the modem from config file.My Field support team was configuring DS frequency manually at customer end.I come to know only this thing after 2 years when i was trying to shift the DS freq. to different freq. So i have around 5k modems(35% Motorola,65% others)

Can someone help me by providing modem config file which can factory reset the modem.
Also can some one paste the TLv list & filter list/example which will be great help to my kind of guy.

We are running a Cisco ubr7246vxr with Arris cable modems and PromptLink for our provisioning system. We recently rolled out voice over this cable system. I am looking to track the number of voice calls that are up at any given time. I use the "show packetcable gate summary" command. I also use a product called PRTG to graph a bunch of items in our network. What I would like to find and am unable to so far is the OID to track the packetcable gate summary information. I would like PRTG to graph the number of phone calls that are up and active at any given moment.

I have a TWG870 from Thomson, and i don't have access to the SIP configuration through the admin page. The SIP config page seems to be hidden.

I've found a pdf document (http://www.broadbandnetworks.ch/files/pdfs/BNET-White%20Paper-TWG870,%20...)
who explains that there's some MIB available for this modem, but, impossible for me to find them through SNMP.

I'm a software developer (not a headend engineer) and I have developed a cable modem test platform which pulls metrics from cable modems for a testing company. I've been able to test the eMTA functionality with a backend SIP server but need to do the same with eMTAs with packetcable firmware. I'm wondering if it's possible to connect to an Asterisk PBX utilizing the packetcable firmware. I would like to detect dialtone and test audio fidelity using dial plans.

Any help would be appreciated...

Is there way to create time based modem profile? Like it allows to browse and chat from 9 am to 5 pm and disallows all services 5 pm to 9 am.

Or is there any possibility to create time based bandwidth control, like I want a specific modem to get 1 MB from 9 am to 5 pm and 5 MB from 5 pm to 9 am.

Recently i am configured a UBR10k to give to the clients public ip´s but i get stuck because in the Bundle when configure a ip secondary with a public ip for gateway the request to me dhcp server arrives with ip of the normal gateway.

I attached part of the configuration to illustrate the problem.
