I need any kind of certificates which can be found for Motorola Surfboard 5100/5101 modems. For example certificate for ISO 9001:2008 or certificate for green environment, or TUV certificate or declaration of conformity or Test certificate or Test Report from some test laboratory , anything...
What I found is that this modem has passed CE-Evaluation test report (EN55022/EN55024) .
If anyone is familiar with those regulative and certification please send me the one which is appropriate for this modem.
I've never worked before with these modems. One of our clients wants to use them in their eurodocsis-network. They've sent me a link where it is stated that these modems are hybrid (work in both docsis and eurodocsis networks) http://www.bestcablesupply.com/terayon/ta102.htm

Will a low light level on a receiver in the headend and/or node cause noise related problems with upstream and downstream channels in an HFC network? If so, what type of problems and/or recommendations do you suggest to fix the problem?
I have dhcp working thanks to a post on another forum. The problem is, the cmts is a closed system, so i don't need any provisioning or advanced features. In fact, the less we screw with it, the better.
So I need help understanding the simplest dhcpd.conf for docsis. I dont want to make host entries every time someone wants to hook up a new modem. Color me dumb: I thought this would be the easiest part of this project, but dhcpd.conf is driving me batty.
I was looking to get some info, opinions advise on configurations and software versions that work best with this addressing scheme IPv6. I'm running Cisco uBR7246vxr and a 2811 in front. I've been attempting to use NAT/PAT with one public IP. I will have a max of 250 cm's. Also I'm looking for a newer version IOS for the uBR, besides Cisco is there anywhere I can aquire this.
I was wondering if anyone has tried this setup? We are using Gainmaker 1Ghz Node and are thinking of trying to utilize 1 Fiber for Forward and Return. It looks as though the receiver accepts anywhere from 1200nm - 1600nm and the transmitter is 1310. If we use a 1550nm Transmitter and 1310 receiver at the hub I would imagine that we could multiplex the 2 onto 1 fiber? Any Thoughts? Thanks!
