I have racked my brain for weeks looking at all the forum posts and reading white papers and have hit a wall. I am unable to hit above 95Mb. The modem seems to burst above it however it doesnt sustain it. I am beginning to think its my modem config file that is the issue.
If anyone can look over this would be greatly appreciated. And if there is a modem file that should allow me to reach the full 320Mb would be great. This the config I currently have :
We have just recently purchased a solution to provide TV, internet and phones over DOCSIS.
we are functioning for the most part but I am having some quirky issues with the ARRIS-TG862G
It appears that it can only accept one incoming call at a time. so there is no call waiting or 3 way calling
and another quirk i found is that for access codes you cannot dial more than 2 digits example when i press *123 which is for voicemail. It will only dial *12.
the 3rd digit is left out.
I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the image referred to in this command to test this card? (MC20x20-20D)
It appears to be named ubr10k-fdiagslc-mz.7_0.bin
Router#diagnostic start subslot 8/0 test ?
% No diagnostic test is available for Subslot 8/0
NOTE: The Field Diagnostic test suite is supported for this line card.
To run Field Diagnostic tests, download the Field Diagnostic image from
cisco.com to a TFTP server or a flash card and enter the "diagnostic
load" command.
Any tips on where to even start with getting an internal speedtest server set up?
In the grand scheme of servers I'm a bit of a novice, so if you know what to do and have the time to go into exquisite detail I would greatly appreciate it.
hey all,
we purchased an Arris C4 through an outside vendor, and for some reason they didn't want support, so we can't contact Arris.
we have configured the cards in the correct slots, but for some reason, all the modems we test, get stuck at init(rc) and won't go past. we've waxed the config and started over twice, and still the same thing. any ideas on what we are missing.
Greetings everyone, I know this isn't DOCSIS specific but I was hoping someone could help me with a few questions. We are planning to move into the M-CMTS world with an RFGW-10, PRE4 and MC3GX60V cards from an I-CMTS(MC20x20V). We currently use AC power for the uBR but the RFGW is DC only. Does anyone have a real world power usage for this particular setup of the RFGW? I plan to use most all of the DS-384 QAMs(about 500). The Cisco documentation says about 4500W but that seems awfully high(almost 100A!).
