Trying to configure all-in-one cmts. Everything works, but cable modems can't fully load webpages. It is acting like an MTU problem, but I've thrown every MTU setting at it and still pages load slow. I don't know if it is an MTU problem or a cable card config problem. Levels look good on cable plant. Modems come up connect via PPPoE very fast.
We over 15 years are provaiding internet services in our city. Now we are upgrading our net with GPON tehnology. After this upgrading there are some equipment that we want to sell.
we have :
Arris Cadant C3 CMTS 2.0 Headend System 1ds/ 6us --- 3 items ( USD 8000 $ each item),equipment good condition
I am just an RF guy but I need some suggestions. We have a CASA CMTS and have not been able
to get IP video to work. We were trying to use Moto. D3 modems. Just for the heck of it we connected
a D2 modem and our set top got the IPs and has been playing now for a couple of weeks. Is there
something missing in the D3 modem configs that keeps our set top from getting IPs?
Also once the set top gets its IPs we connected it to an Arris D3 modem and it kept playing but would not
boot up with it.
Hello all. I need to set an static IP to a CM on the network and for that I created a /30 subnet on my bundle interface.
When I set the config on the host behind the modem I can't ping or link with the CMTS.
The idea is connect a host on the CM network with a static IP address.
Does anyone has experience with Cisco M-CMTSs? We are interested to know something more about M-CMTS architecture.
We want to install one M-CMTS in master Headend and three Edge QAMs in three smaller Headends that will be connected to the master Headend.
Good afternoon / evening,
We have a few BSR64000 chassis including cards for sale. The equipment has barely been used
anyone interested ? If yes I can provide a detailed configlist, please let me know.
Otherwise can anybody help me with company(s) that would be interested in this kind of equipment /
Hello!
I have an Arris C3 cmts and I've configured with a downstream frequency.
Everything goes well.
I have a question for the fix as well, and also to increase the bandwidth more.
In HFC network, as it is better to use a downstream frequency or more frequency?
I'm having a trouble with a bsr1000. All the upstreams port from the cmts goes from SNR 0 to 280 and viceversa, and the upstream port 3 remains on SNR 0.
We have another cmts, a bsr2000 and we do not have this issues. What I tried was to set another channel-width and frequency but no result.
I don't think this could be noise because it's in all upstream port (except No. 3 which remains SNR 0). In logs I don't see any strange but next:
