Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade the firmware on some EPC3928D modems. The firmware is installed, but the modem will not come online after the upgrade.
The modem stops at reject(c), and then reboots and starts over with the init process.
The only change I made in the config file is the Software Upgrade Filename line.
After a bit of searching I see that reject(c) could be "bad Class of Service".
can anyone help me configuring docsis_server ( https://github.com/bschirrmeister/docsis_server )?
I install it in ubuntu 14 and there is no error at all but it does't give any IP in the CM.
When I loot at the log files in the DHCP ( /home/docsis/docsis_server.DHCP.3838 )
heres what i got:

I'm trying to setup a CMTS (arris C4c) which has IPv6 support, connected devices should query the backend server (an isc-dhcpd server) for an IPv6 address and both the cable modem and any connected devices (i.e CPE devices) should also obtain an IPv6 address (ideally from a different pool).
I have an issue with a Cisco 10k I support. The company is wanting to move to 8 channel bonding from 4 on the MC20x20 line card. Because the company is small the last Mac-Domain is not in use (5/0/4). I removed all interfaces from the domain so that 5/0/0 has 5 upstreams and so on. Similar to Mbowe config he has posted before. The issue I have is this. Modem locks on all 8 channels and 3 upstreams. SNR is 42-45 on all downstreams and 36 on up. Running speed test I get ~280Mbps which is all great!
I try to connect 2 CMTS UBR 7200 with 4 MC28U, i use CNR ver 6, the first CMTS no failure, but the second, Cable modem stays in INIT (o). In CNR the error shown in the TFTP server is:
file/tftp/1 Info Server 0 10084 Client 172.11.1.3:1689 Dropping duplicate request packet
the question is: How can I connect 2 CMTS in the same CNR?
I was wondering, to anyone that has deployed IPv6 to their customers, how you track what address/prefix goes with which customer? If at all. Currently we specify that we keep records(for 6 mo) of which customer has which IPv4 address via dhcpd.leases. This is very easy as ISC DHCP logs the MAC address of the CM the request came from(option agent.remote-id). However IPv6 isn't the same, it logs a lot more information in octal format. Sometimes I can get the MAC address of the router doing the request but not in all cases.
We are trying to get the second voice port on Arris MTA's to work and are having difficulties. Can anyone share the relevant config portions or point to something that will help? We currently use PromptLink for provisioning and below is the additional we are using to try and get the second line to register. This is SIP to a Broadsoft server.
