I just deployed a new Cisco 7225VXR D3 enabled CMTS to a new market(no existing service). We've only deployed D3 modems so all are registered wideband. Now we outsource our "CPE monitoring" to an outside company. They present us with nice red light/green light of SNR, utilization, etc.. But I have my own internal Cacti server that will graph the same data, just not as easy on the eyeballs as red=bad and green=good. Now, when I use Cacti to build graphs one would assume that each cable 3/0*(example). would include Integrated Cable 3/0:0-3 AND Wideband3/0:0.
Hi all, we are selling this, just wondering if someone was interrested?
Everything working 100% properly, was recently taken out of production due to a Docsis 2.0 upgrade.
Location: Spain, Malaga. We can ship it with DHL if wanted.
I was wondering what is the best way to avoid CM D3.0 capable from connecting in a wideband channel? I have read about TLV 43.15 in Cisco documentation, but I tried without success. I just want to have control of CMs connecting into wideband channels.
I want to give Different IP addresses to WAN(of the router cable modem) and different IP addresses to CPE(PC of client).
How can I distinguish in the DHCP conf one from another? Can anyone help me please?
