I have got a used EPC3212 and want to use it at my German cable internet connection. How can I configure the modem? I can login to the web interface but there is no configuration options available. I have seen in this forum some configuration files. But how can I load this to the modem? Can I use TFTP server via DHCP on the LAN side of the modem?
The documentation I have found on the internet is very rare and even can’t find the firmware (maybe because Cisco provides this only to carriers).
My goal, as the subject says, is to change the cable modem speeds automatically based on the time of the day. For example 6 Mbps during the day and 12 Mbps in the night (as a simple example). As far as I know, to make this possible there are only two ways:
Hi i use 7246 with Cisco IOS SCH3 and modem 3925 connected but i cant get IP from DHCP server
Modem stuck to init(d) state .
For provisioning i use DACS ( docsis auto configuration system )
Machine where si DACS is also act as TFTP , NTP ( for cmts ) etc ..
in germany there is a new law which allows the customer to choice any modem.
I'm looking for a modem config file, which fits many(all) modems. The config file should be able to get any CPE of the customer online. There is no need to configure a E-MTA.
Hello we are looking to liquidate three of the following BSR64000HD DOCSIS 3.0 configurations. These bundles are used, tested working with 90 day warranty. I am happy to break out individual line cards if needed!
Take a look at this 12x1 configuration that I’m trying to drop on my 10K with 20x20’s.
I can get a 8x1 channel downstream bonding config to work just fine, but the modems aren’t taking this 12x1. They try to boot up with 12x1, but they reject it and come online with 1x1 narrowband.
What am I missing?

I recently switched a PICO mini 200a out with a ubr10k and used the same channels/widths etc.
It appears that modems are connecting with 8 DS and 4US just fine, however modems appears to have slower speeds than what they had with the Pico.
I've adjusted the speeds in the config file, which seemed to help the download speeds but the upload speeds are about 20% of what they've normally been.
Does anyone know anything about issue of setting this modem to router mode?
The problem is that when this modem is set to router mode, it doesn't allow end user, which is behind nat, access to internet.
Maybe some specific tlv code or snmp object?
