Our customer in Europe wants to bond 8 downstreams in two groups of four. These two groupings are around 300MHz apart. We sent a TCM 470 which claims "64 MHz capture window split into two windows of 32 MHz thanks to the integrated dual tuner solution". Our customer reported that though he could use two groups of four, all 8 channels had to be within a 100 MHz block of spectrum. Our distributor said our customer was wrong, but then he did his own testing and agreed that the TCM470 didn't have two fully independent tuners.
I've run into an issue that I'm stuck at. The layout is a dual-bridge, with disabled routing:
Bridge-group 0:
Fa0/0.2 - link towards internet (VLAN tag set on the Fa0/0.2 outbound interface towards the next hop) - all IPs public
Cable1/0.1 - CPEs are provisioned here (same VLAN tag is set on the interface)
Bridge-group 1:
Fa0/0.0 - link towards the provisioning server (TFTP/DHCP/etc.) - again with a VLAN tag - the IPs are private
Cable1/0 - CMs are provisioned here (no VLAN tag)
Dear All,
Hope you will be fine and doing well. Is it possible to change the homepage of clients browser on DOCSIS 2.0 network. Basically, we have developed a website and we would like to advertise it using Homepage. so whenever the client will open the browser our website will appear over there untill and unless client will change the homepage setting.
Kindly adivce. is it possible or is there anyother way to do this.
please, if someone got some firmware links for $subject, share with me! Thanks. Can't start the modems, gets IP and no network access, it shows that the WAN side has no IP address, although it's online.
recently we've got a source of Scientific Atlanta DPC/EPC2203 modems. We run IOS version 12.3(23)BC3. As I see, there are no commands in this release configuring gatekeeper and such, I think the voip functionality is missing altogether. This normally would not be a problem, we don't intend to use voip for now, but we cannot configure EPC2203 modems, the cable-modem part awakes but lets no traffic through for the CPE. Can somebody please point us to the right direction?
Thanks in advance!
We are testing new Aironet 1552c with DOCSIS 3.0. As per specs, we got it must works in backward DOCSIS 2.0, 1.1 and 1.0. But its doesn't get online. It stucks ranging at init(rc). Is there any specials changes to be done on DHCP or tftp for this?
Is there anyway to change the interdigit timeout on a Arris TM402 using SIP. Have some users that the phone times out the entry before they can enter the full phone number. The modems are using the following for the digitmap.
Hi, We are using cisco uBR7246VXR with IOS 12.3(21a)BC8. We are in needing IEEE 802.1x to authenticate modems with our AAA servers. Till now, don't know whether our CMTS supports it or not?
