Cisco ubr 10k 3G60 PRE4 with SCH5.
I want so see the upstream description in my dhcp logs. So I added "cable dhcp-insert upstream-description" to the bundle interface.
When I check my logs I see something like this:
...: Agent Circuit ID: 800603fa
...: Agent Circuit ID: 80020407
...: Agent Circuit ID: 800603fa
...: Agent Circuit ID: 800803eb
...: Agent Circuit ID: 80020407
But this is not the description I expect.
The same solution is working with Casa CMTS.
Hi im new at this. I have two cmts in operation (CISCO 10K AND CASA 3200). I operate with CNR, im workin with docsis 1.x ,1.0 and have no problem but with the cms 3.0 cant go online all set in
Cisco init(io)
Casa init(d)
I think may have touble with the CNR but im not sure.
Running 2 different BSR64k CMTS with 2 separate DHCP servers. We are migrating from one to another... slowly.
The problems:
Where CM820's & DG860's are taking a long time to come online (in some cases never), and several of them are requiring full factory resets with or without updated firmware in order to connect to either side.
This really becomes an issue when considering that we're migrating, and we cannot have all of those support phone calls rather suddenly without reason.
We have this issue in Ubr10k that this particular MAC Domain. The D3 modems connected to it cant go in wideband mode. When I try to force it, the CMTS then rejects the registration of the modems (reject(c)). here is my config.
We have a Motorola BSR64000 available. Has a TX32 and a RX48, SRM4, and an EtherFlex 10/100/1000 module. All offers considered. Any questions email acollard@rcicommunications.com or call 517-663-7514.
Was curious to see what anyone else had for Incognito?
I am wanting to do a script that pops in customer information en masse on the CLI side. Has anybody done this? I am assuming someone at Cox Communications would know to some extent.
