Hello everyone,
I'm look for a spec sheet and confirm the unit can do docsis 2.0
it's a 3500R chassis with 3531 switch controller and 3542 1x4 front and 3534ca-a active rf adapter rear cards.
Thank You
I am trying to understand how the MIB 'docsifcmstatusresets' work. When I looked at this MIB property it has a description as 'Number of times the CM reset or initialized this interface'.
This is how I tested to see if the MIB 'docsifcmstatusresets' increments its counter with each reboot:-
1. I rebooted my cable modem through the MIB object 'docsdevresetnow'.
2. Then I checked the value of 'docsifcmstatusresets'. The value was zero.
3. I repeated step 1 few times and I found that the value of the 'docsifcmstatusresets' remained zero.
Been trying to put bpi+ plus docsis 1.1 working. I´m getting the following error in debug. Am I supposed to install the vendor modem certificate? How do I do that?
TIA,
Rui

Can someone explain me a litle bit how can use and configure spectrum managment on BSR2000, maybe if smone have some kind of documentation with some examples or link to it.
As title says, I am trying to setup docsis 1.1 w/ bpi+ using a uBR7246VXR (NPE-G1) w/ 1GB RAM and IOS UBR7200-IK8S, 12.3(9a)BC9 fc1 and a webstar Euro DOCSIS modem.
That said, I´ve already tried several setups, put DOCSIS 1.1 and DOCSIS 1.0+bpi to work but have not been successful putting together DOCSIS 1.1 w/ bpi+.
Does anybody know, how we can specify direction (inbound or outband) of filtering with LLC filters in CM config file or in CMTS? We have created these filters in our config files:
Hey everyone,
Im just about gone nuts, bugeyed and drive to smoke twice as much over Arris TM402 eMTA modems.
We have approximately 150 of these units which we're purchased refurbs, GREAT cable modme, no issues, the eMTA = STRAIGHT from Hell.
Let me preface this with the fact I am not a Docsis Engineer, I just stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night.
We provide internet services to apartment complexes, with fairly small cable plants (our largest is 150 modems). We continue to have issues at all of our sites, which I blame on plant configuration due to nobody knowing how to configure a Docsis plant. One very common issue we are facing is high levels of noise.
