My test network has a gateway with a single public IP and static routes for two /24 LANs. One for CPE and one for CMs.
I currently have a single cable bundle with a primary IP for CPE and a secondary IP for modems. The CMTS has 5 slave interfaces which represent my nodes.
I want to get rid of the NAT gateway, and I also don't want all of the CPEs to share a /24 address space — I'd like to create /30 point-to-point networks for each subscriber.
I have a novelty now that I am testing with ubee modem, after I restart the modem I can no see the levels to review by snmp because I have no response with the oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.1.0
hello guys i got a problem with a test cmts ubr7200

I'm trying to build a modem query script for our csr's to use to look at some ofdm information.
Right now I have it so entering the ip address of the modem brings up the ofdm rf level, broken into 6mhz chunks, then displays the average mer, as well as deviation of the ofdm carrier. Does anyone know of an oid to query in the modem to display the modulation profile in use? The profile # is all I'm really looking for.
I thought I found one, but after trying it, soon discovered that it is there, but apparently it is hidden.
After changing the provisioning MTA flow from Hybrid Flow to Basic Flow, my Arris and Ubee MTA's are not working. In the other hands, Sagemcom is working properly. I can see in the Arris device, SubOption 7 Authorization method (MTA should get TGT) to FALSE. Is that Okay?
What could be the cause/ Any OID in the configuration file expected or need to be removed?
I have an older Harmonic NSG-40 card without DLM. What would be a good value for the rf-channel network delay in the CMTS? Using a UBR10k with MC3gx60 connected straight up to the Harmonic.
I was wondering if any of you have experience with cable modem 3.0 that suddenly lost Internet connection for sometime, like 30 minutes, one hour or more. I am having that issue with some random clients and when we check their parameters everything is normal, but the clients keep saying the same: they lost connection, even though all the lights on the CM are normal.
Could it be related to load balancing or any misconfiguration on the CMTS? We have an UBR10012, but this is the first time facing this kind of issue.
