I wondering if anyone have a answers to my problem. When i'm connecting a new cm or a hold one have been disconnected since few months, it is always taking around 30-45min before the CMTS see it first. I know he have to scan, but i dont understand why is soo long.
Basically I want to be able to give out static addresses from the same subnet to any cable modem regardless of which BSR it is connected to.
Is it possible to enable proxy arp on LAG interfaces? I am able to get proxy arp working for individual 1G/10G ports but the option doesn't look to be available for LAG interfaces.
Edit: I believe I have found a way to get this working using more specific static routes on each CMTS and am working on a more elegant solution. Would still be nice to get proxy arp working with a LAG interface
I have little problems.
We installed 3 arric c3 few days ago and i got that problem if is put the cmts US to ATDMA and modulation profile 27 (qam32) then the modems suck at init(rc) and not getting dhcp. If i put it back to modulation profile 21 (qpsk) works perfect.
I have some TX32 cards that are showing muted after upgrading them from 8546 to 8629. On the Chassis I am currently running boot ROM of 7.0.0.43 with a firmware of 7.0.0.5 on my SRM4.
Any clue why this would happen? The front of the TX32 cards are all greened up and look happy. See below output showing that the cards are muted. Any help to figure this out would be great.
I'm trying to duplicate the bandwitdh with my ubr10k using LACP, the problem is that when i configure the CMTS and the switch the traffic, alternate between two ports of the switch, cutting the service for a few seconds.
This is my config on ubr10k and switch:
UBR10K:
interface Port-channel1
ip address 192.168.123.13 255.255.255.0
no negotiation auto
