we have here a 7246, with ngp2 and 1 docsis 3 card mx88v
we have 2 problems, the register process are very slow, and when the CMs are register, the broweser are extremly slow and too much loss outside targets
I am currently having problems when installing my cable modem, this configuration the probe in a UBR7240XVR and it worked without problems, but when testing it with an arris C3 version 4.4.4.13.bin it shows the error of init (o) - modem ready to download config file my moden is already upstream and upstream but does not download the boot file.attached configuration of cmts and dhcpd
current practice when doing node-splits (involving moving a cluster/node to another CMTS) is to call all affected customers with fixed public ipv4 addresses and inform them that their fixed public IPv4 address will change on a certain date.
I want to try to avoid this.
I am willing to accept a complex configuration and maybe routing /32 ipv4-prefixes through our backbone for business customers.
Someone with some example show run of configuration of CMTS C3 ARRIS with version 4.4.3.2.bin having a server provisioning 172.17.xx / 24 and a network for cable modem 10.50.xx / 16 if they have documentation of any of these cmts in function share me one since I need to configure one that I have in the laboratory
I have some TG2472G's and DG1670A's that I'm having some problems with the current Firmware and wondering if anyone might be able to send me the most up to date Firmware? It looks like I'm having trouble pinging the units from the CMTS due to the current firmware, any help would be greatly appreciated.
