We have SB6120 modems on our network which we need to upgrade. Current version on the modems is "SB612X-1.0.3.5-SCM00-NOSH".

Can anyone help me find the latest firmware for these modems?

I've had mixed results when attempting to perform a command like the following:

cable modem xxxx.xxxx.xxxx dbc downstream bonding-group XXXX

Sometimes it goes without an error, other times I get the following:

% Move failed on CMTS module, errno = S_lbm_DBC_NOT_SUPPORTED_WITHOUT_TCC_ENCODING

Everything is set up the same on this CMTS, so I'm not sure why this happens.

I have seen in the past but don't remember what did I change now, because this parameter is empty now.
Does anybody know how to configure that you could see/check the cfg file name and FW version from the CMTS?

show cable modem verbose | include "Configuration file name"
Configuration file name :n/a

show cable modem verbose | include "sysDescr"
sysDescr :n/a

I don't know what parameter must be added into the config file.

Does anyone know what the latest firmware is on the CASA C 2200?

I have problem with setting TIME offset - if I set +2, it still not set correct time. I cannot set it manually. Maybe you have any solution for problem with setting time? Maybe new firmware?

Would like to implement a Captive Portal page for customers who have not paid so when they try to use internet, the Portal will pop up.

Any help or guidance?

Is this done at Edge Router level? CMTS? DHCP

I have the following problem is with my ubr 7246-xvr which can not make it start staying in a rommon1 and it does not go from there and I have tried several procedures but I always get the same rommon 1 screen that could have bad in my boot configuration? I will attach what it shows in console at startup

I ran a debug (registration,tlv) on a modem thats not bonding and found the following unique message: RCP index = 3; a WB cap but online CM 7871.9cf2.1d21
What is a WB cap? I cannot find any info about it online and there doesn't seem to be any impaired channels. Other modems are bonding fine in the nearby area, so Im assuming a bad modem/drop but im curious about this message.

Hey everyone, we are looking to set up guest wireless on our SBG6580's and have a ton of questions...

If we set up a guest wireless network in a house I assume it will share the existing customers plan, is there any way to create a different service flow or something and have be a seperate access or limit guest wireless to say 3mb?
