Greetings everyone, I'm running 12.2(33) SCG3 on our 7200s and SCG6 on our 10k CMTSs. I know Netflow is not supported with IPv6 on this IOS train. I glanced at the release notes up until SCJ and didn't see any Netflow support for IPv6.
Does anyone know if and when IPv6 Netflow support will be added to IOS?
Does anyone have an idea what the specific formatting is to the OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.10.127.1.1.4.1.7(mib-2.transmission.docsIfMib.docsIfMibObjects.docsIfBaseObjects.docsIfSignalQualityTable.docsIfSignalQualityEntry.docsIfSigQEqualizationData.). And a second question: is this the status of the downstream post equalizer of the CM?
Will it be possible to run Docsis 3.0 and 3.1 Upstreams on the same frequencies?
If it's the same CMTS and the same linecard, the system should be able to manage those D30 and D31 CM.
Based on the timing synchronization should it be possible, would I say.
What do you think?
We have some inter-company arguing going on here about micro-reflections.
Some guys say a higher number is better, some say lower is better, and some say wtf are those, and who cares anyway.
Can someone point me to some relatively simple documentation about this subject that can be spread around to prove which is correct?
I've tried this site: http://www.scte.org/TechnicalColumns/09-11-01%20what%20is%20a%20micro-re...
but met with mostly blank gazes.
I am installing a cmts ubr10k and console the following error appears "% CI-1-TOTALFANFAIL: Total fan tray failure". looking at the fan module has no fault FAN OK light! this green. FAN module model is "UBR10-FAN-ASSY =" and fw is used ubr10k4-k9p6u2-mz.122-33.SCF1.bin
Anybody out there who knows a good cm monitoring tool?
It should monitor every cm and should paint a graph with us-snr, us-pwr(min-max), ds-recv-pwr(min-max) and ds-snr.
This values could be monitored every 5 to 10 minutes.
A second part could be a on demand table with values for every Downstream and every Upstream.
Would be cool, webbased addressed by cm mac address,
thanks
I run a small-time cable plant with about 300 customers on an apartment complex. Over the years we have slowly upgraded our headend gear, starting with a uBR7111, then a 7114, then a 7246VXR. We're moving to a 10012 next year if all goes well.
What telnet command to disable printing scanning DS frequency output in telnet console Motorola MB7220? (a lot of disgnostic output all the time, each scanned DS frequency is printed )
What is the proper syntax, or address/mask combo for the SNMP Transport Address fields? I'm trying to secure modems on my network by altering the SNMP community strings. I see that in the DOCSIS3 modems there are fields to control the transport address. One Fields is asking for "address" indicated the response should be "address/port", the other "address mask" is requesting similar response.
should the "Transport Address" field look something like this:
172.16.100.10/161 (where 161 is UDP/TCP 161)
or
172.16.100.10/32 (where 32 is netmask)
