Have any of you tested IPv6 on your network for end users? Currently testing a patch for dhcpd with mysql and the council is working stably. Jendak noticed a difference in the downlink for example from the ftp ipv6 not go more than 25 MB/s (by ipv4 transfer is about 45 mB/s). Do you have similar problems?
Our D3.0 wideband modems exhibit what I think is odd behavior. As the connection's provisioned upload QOS starts to exceed around 60-70% the download speed begins to suffer heavily. DS bandwidth deteriorates increasingly to the point when the the upload bandwidth is near or at max QOS. At max upload QOS the connection is pratically unuseable, not just slow. Our D2.0 modems, e.g. SB510X's don't exhibit this behavior. I've successfully maxed a D2.0 modem's US and DS qos for a sustained period of time without diminished bandwidth in either direction.
Greetings to all, I have a problem with my cmts coresma cc8000, since yesterday is presenting an error with regustro of modems. Presents a message that says "Registration T9 aborted" please can you tell me what this means and how I can fix it
My Arris 1500 came with upstream cards in slot 1 and 2. The channel 2 does not pass data or have the front panel light lit for 2. Manual says to add cards in the following order 1, 8, 2, 3.... So I've moved the card to slot 8. I can change admin-status to "up" for slot 8 but cable-level shows 8 to be down.
I'm accessing the 1500 remotely with putty and then telnet into the CMTS. What step I'm I missing??
Thanks - Rob
