ISC dhcp server problem

we have 4 docsis cmts(BSR2000) I got a problem when the modem aquire ip address in CPE side.. Because when look at the logs the ip address tried to acquire of the computer is different subnet and not the one configured in the cmts i check the routes in linux box its correct and double check the ip address for the cpe in cmts its also correct!

"It acquire the ip address for cpe configured in cmts 2 but the modem is configured in cmts 1 and they have there own ip subnet for cpe"

hope anyone have the idea on this problem!

If you look at the BSR documentation you should see where you can configure the CMTS with different cable and ip helper addresses to take advantage of different DHCP servers.

Also the primary IP address on my cable interface belongs to the CM subnet, not the CPE subnet. That might make a difference, too.

you could also try as well adding secondary host at the end ip address added for CPE subnets
