DOCSIS protocol analyzer

Does anyone have a source for any DOCSIS protocol analyzer, namely:
- Sigtek ST-261A
- Sigtek ST-260C
- Agilent/HP E7333A

Regards,

Frank

I did end up finding two sources, one of them being TVC which has a Sigtek 261-B. The other one you'll have to ask me about.

The form factor on the ST-261 is nothing special: just a 'ruggedized' PC, monitor, and keyboard in a largish box:

Does this answer your queston?

@frnkblk

Thanks for your answer. How works this DOCSIS-Analyzer? Is it a PC with a embedded Cablemodem who forwarding all Traffic from the HFC-Side?

Sorry for the delay, I didn't receive a notification that my posting had received a reply.

This DOCSIS analyzer is a really a 'ruggedized' PC with a special DOCSIS card. I wouldn't call it an embedded cable modem because it runs in a 'promiscuous mode' and so can look at all the up and downstream traffic, as well has some special features related to capturing burst traffic.

You might benefit reading the online manual:
