Hi,
We are about to purchase a Cisco MC20x20-5D linecard (5 Downstream licence) Someone told me that we could do D3 bonding with this but I wasn't familiar with the 5 license being able to do bonding? Any insight?
Hi,
Few years ago I bought few cable modems including Arris TM602g units. I never tried the idea of provide telephone service until now.
I'm having trouble provisioning the eMTA side, and I think is because I’m trying to provisioning SIP on those cable modems.
Seems that the cable modem firmware has to be change to make it work on SIP provisioning and that part has to be provide by Arris itself.
I bought it to an Arris re-seller. I want to know if you can help me getting this eMTA Firmware thing on the way.
have a cisco cmts ubr7246vxr model with 2 plates mc28u and npe-g1 plate. he is rebooting alone. in Annex I took the information about these crash. does anyone know what could it be?
I took over a cable plant about 1 year ago, they only had Docsis 1.X and 2.0 running. We wanted to upgraded to DOCSIS 3.0. Our CTMS and cable modems we got seem to work fine for 3.0. But I'm noticing in our plant that some DOCSIS 3.0 modems don't bond all 5 channels like they should. Reading over the DCOSIS 3.0 specs it looks like the frequency range is 108 - 1ghz.
Anybody out there ever set up Docsis30 Loadbalancing based on Cisco modem-count loadbalancing?
The command "cable load-balance docsis30-enable" was introduced in IOS SCF.
Now i would like to use the 'dynamic bonding change' for D30 modem. So far I've set up the following:
cable load-balance docsis30-enable
!
cable load-balance docsis-group FN 3 MD Cable6/0/1
no disable
method utilization us-method utilization
interval 30
threshold load 10
threshold load minimum 3
threshold stability 50
I just want to revive some Motorola sbv5121e voip cable modems.
I have read many articles on this site, but the mta part will not work,
and i ran out of ideas. I could use a little help.
I would like to don't have any wideband capable modem in only one freq. and I tried to solve with thew command 'Cable Wideband Autoreset' but so far without sucess.
