Hello,

hello we have a problem in this cmts, the cable loses pinging packets for ipv4 from cmts, and for ipv4 from the network,

We already changed the smms, the chassis, the sfp, the optical cord, and the problem continues.

I had the same issue with my C1G, but with the downstream channels. I was getting around 5% dropped packets with Motorola surfboard modems only. Cisco and Netgear would work just fine. I was able to RMA the faulty CMTS and the issue was gone.

side note

In some cases, the dropped packets is due to old modem firmware. I've seen this on Motorola, Ubee, Sagemcomm and others.
what's your upstream SNR?
what modulation profile are you using?
