I've got some systems where the log has too many pktcb_daemon and ipdr with ip's but the chassis isn't configured for for either.
in the past with other cmts's I could simply config no logging (whatever) and it wouldn't show in the log, just cli commands run and events.
an example would be appreciated.

How do these messages look like?
Maybe you just need to add an access-list rule:
ip access-list DENY_IPDR
10 deny ipdr any any
...
ipdr access-group DENY_IPDR in
