how to manage channel bonding by using config file

Hi guys,
hope you're OK today. I have a question about DOCSIS 3.0 config file.
As we know, Cable modem DOCSIS 3.0 used config file D1.1. The different Cable modem D3.0 has a capability to use channel bonding. How to make it different between DOCSIS 1.1 and 3.0.
I want to implement how to manage the channel bonding by using config file. I had a case, to separate Cable modem D3.0 to customer that has speed more that 30 Mbps and Cable modem D1.1 to customer that has speed less than 30 Mbps. In some case, The customer buy the cable modem D3.0 in the market and use it, so, we can't manage it. Can we block the channel bonding for the customer that buy cable modem in the global market? So, they just have a online state.

Thank you for your idea and help.

Regards,

I'm not sure why you care if

I'm not sure why you care if the modem is doing bonding or not.

For example if you are selling a "30Mbps" plan, it doesnt really matter if the customer is using bonding or not. In fact bonding is better in that it helps spread the traffic more evenly across multiple DS rather than congesting a single DS. Just put the 30Mbps speed limit in the config file.

Although I guess if you are not applying a traffic quota then bonding would allow the customer to download more. Is this what you are worried about?

Also, are you saying that

Also, are you saying that anyone can connect any modem and get a working service?

Thanks mbowe, for the comment

Thanks mbowe, for the comment.
We need to manage DOCSIS 3.0 and DOCSIS 1.1 by using config file (by system).
because we have a concern about cable modem registration (policy in several division) and how to manage our bandwidth, we're using wideband only for D3.0 and several product packet, to avoid congestion :)

Do you have any idea to make it from Config file?
