BSR2000 as Bridge

Hi...!

I''ve a Motorola CMTS BSR2000. Right now is working as ROUTER.
Right now company will change network topology,
So , I need to setup BSR2000 as a BRIDGE.

Because I've no BSR2000 manual, ...somebody have bsr2000 manual?
...anybody can tell me how to setup it as BRIDGE?

Thank you

not a bridge

you might be able to run vlans, why would you want a bridge?

I want to run as bridge,

I want to run as bridge, because I've 2 BSR2000, and I have same subnet IP in both CMTS.

Can you help me to setup vlans or bridge?

Can I setup VLAN over cable interface? or must setup it over each CM ?

cmcaldas
can't have same networks

how can you route with both having the same subnets on both systems?
do it right and each has it's own network and route between them. only reason for bridge would be to pass traffic other than ip like appletalk.
simply add new scopes and routes on the dhcp server and router with routes to go from one to the other network behind the gigE or 10/100 port you use to pass traffic
