Arris Cadant C3 - I forgot supervisor level and factory level password

Hello,

Can someone give me an advice how to recovery my forgotten password on both supervisor level and factory level. At the moment I can not use the command “bootCfg” to configure my C3 cmts in the startup procedure. If I remember correctly I set the same passwords on booth levels but I forgot it.

I need an urgent help to resolve this problem!! Maybe I can make an Arris CADANT 3 CMTS hardware reset??? How to do this?????

Take the compact flash out of the cmts and edit it with a any pc and a multi card reader.

Where do I change that on the Card?? All ready on the PC, but dont know what to change.

I think you can rename running-config on the flash card. Put it back in and reboot cmts. The cmts should boot up with a default running-config. Or you can edit the running-config with a new password.

with that I will reset the Enable Password, Im looking to reset the Supervisor Level Password. In thet level You can assing a Ethernet Port for Manegamet or WAN
