CMTS Engineer needed in Massachusetts.

Our client is a national communication provider that is seeking a CMTS Engineer to join their team in the Lowell, MA area on a contract basis.

On a day to day basis this person will be reviewing the design of their Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) for approval. They will be using Microsoft Excel to review and document daily activities. They will also assist their support team for network issues and outages. This position requires that the individual will be able to communicate with the technicians in the field and also the engineers within the group.

To be qualified for this position the individual must have experience working directly with CMTS and be able to adapt well to the team environment. They also must have experience with Microsoft Excel for the documentation and review of the design of their CMTS.

The position is slated to be a nine month contract position starting within four weeks. It is Monday through Friday, 40 to 50 hours a week. Our client is able to interview for this position as early as April 7th.
