Job Description:
APDG has been assigned to develop and bring to market an advanced eMTA. In order to bring innovative services on this new platform, a major software architecture re-engineering is run with the porting of Linux. This new platform may integrate modules/application stack from the silicon supplier ported in a Linux environment

She/He will be part of a 5-6 member Software Engineering team responsible to deliver the complete Software platform.
Thanks to his/her expertise in DocSis/PacketCable/CableHome, she/he is a key member of this team, and has the following mission:
- act as an expert for Docsis related matters (new subject for the S/W team)
- take ownership and develop specific SW modules within the S/W team
- help in designing a proper solution, knowing constraints specific to the Cable operators (including interop issues, performance issues, real-time
behavior)
- ensure the future verifiability of the Product, by leveraging her/his expertise in previous certification processes during the design/development phase

Requirements:
- Engineer in Electronics, telecom or informatics
- 2 to 5 years of experience in cable environment, ideally in software development or pre sales or technical support
- Compulsory knowledge : Docsis norms, C language
- Wishes knowledge : linux
- Taste for new technology and related challenges
- Ability to work in team
- Fluent in English
